Chief

Huai Hua 12g Bitter and cold, clears D-H from the intestines, drains heat and clears the intestines, cools the blood, and stops bleeding.

Deputy

cè bǎi yè 12g Bitter, astringent and sli. Cold, assists the chief in cooling the blood and stopping the bleeding. Dries dampness w/o injuring the yin.
Jing Jie 6g Disperses Wind and enters the blood level to stop bleeding.

Assistant

Zhi Ke 6-9g Promotes the movement of Qi and thereby relaxes the intestines. Helps restore proper f(x) to the Qi dynamic. Aids in reduction and separation of the pathogens.
