dāng guī 9g nourish blood, regulate blood stops pain, moves blood. "h:Bai Shao" is its deputy.
guì zhī 9g Goes to muscle layer / exterior and warms the channels, treats pain, harmonizes Ying and Wei.

bái sháo 9g Nourish yin and blood.
xì xīn 6g Warms the interior & exterior. Modern dose: 3 g d/t toxicity.
